Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Well its that time of year again, Christmas is here! Which means I won't get much chance to actually do too much drawing as I'll be visiting family, drinking and eating a lot. Just to keep you all going, here is a nice little picture of RoboSanta 2000 riding Rudolph the T. Rex off to deliver the presents. This is pretty much the way Christmas will happen in from now on. The real Santa is getting older and isn't quite as spritely as he used to be so he needs a little artificial assistance. Not to mention that as less and less houses have chimneys he requires some extra strength to smash through the wall and drop the presents off. So from now on you need to stop leaving out brandy and carrots and swap it for WD-40 and a large cut of raw meat.

Hope you all have a great holiday and a big thanks for stopping by and looking at my work. You are all very much appreciated.

Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013!

Nerd Britannia

The ultimate nerd team
I went to see Skyfall not long ago. Great film, loads of new style Bond action and a pretty good spy story too. It reminded me more of the older movies than the last couple. They have changed up a few people this time around and one of the main additions is a new Q. As soon as he appeared on screen you could see what a nerdy guy he is. He instantly made me think of that other totally British nerd from the IT Crowd, Maurice Moss. The hair, the glasses, the fascination with word games. There is no doubt that these two would get on like the proverbial house on fire. So a little bit of sketching later, this is what I came up with.

As always, this design is now available on Redbubble and Society6, all the details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

The Three Trolls

The tastiest Dwarf in all of Middle Earth
With the Hobbit due in cinemas real soon now I started thinking about the story again. One of my favourite scenes is where the trolls, Tom, Bert and Bill, capture Bilbo and the dwarves and set about deciding the best way to eat them. They can't decide between roasting, boiling or squashing them. Thanks to a little help from Gandalf they keep arguing until the sun comes up and then they turn to stone. I thought I would try a little play on how things could have turned out without Gandalf around. So get yourself down to the Three Trolls for the very best in Roast, Boiled or Squashed Dwarf.

Available on Redbubble and Society6 on T-shirts, iPad cases and prints. Get all the tastiest details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Dreamer in the Deep

Beware when Cthulu awakes.

That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.

Bit of a different one for you this time around. I like doodling monsters (don't we all!) and when I had this guy looking out from my sketchpad I knew I had to make something a bit more polished from it. Cthulu is one of those characters that is pretty loosely described, which allows you to go completely mad and draw pretty much whatever you like. So after a lot of scribbling and shading I managed to turn a simple tentacled dude into this rather fetching design. It was great fun just getting into all the little details and making sure all that hatching was working nicely.

If you would like a tasteful monster adorning your stuff you can get hold of it from Redbubble, Society6 and even Zazzle. All the details are on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Chunky Puke Hoops

Chunk's Chunky Puke Hoops, the best way to start your day!
Chunk's confessions was one of my favourite parts of the Goonies. The bit where he tells the Fratelli's all about how he made some fake puke still makes me laugh now. There's a bit of a thing in the T-shirt world for making fake cereal packet designs as well, so while mulling these things over this design came at me. What would a cereal endorsed by Chunk be like? Well obviously it would have to be chunky, and if it looked like fake puke that would be even better. Real carrot chunks? Well they are always in there right? And there you have it, Chunk's Chunky Puke Hoops a healthy tasty breakfast.

Available at Redbubble and Society6 right now on T-shirts, stickers, iPhone cases, prints and posters. Check out the Doodle Dojo Site for all the info and links.

Bullet Time Bill

He is 'The One'
Do you believe that my being stronger or faster has anything to do with my muscles in this place? Do you think those are mushrooms eating now?

Bullet Bill is one of the (many) horrible, inexorable, really annoying enemies in Mario Bros. While you try and repeatedly dodge them, die and restart it makes you wonder if there is a better way. That's when it struck me that Neo had a much better way. If there is anyone who should be an equal to Neo when it comes to manipulating a computer simulated world, it really has to be Mario. He has been through just about every type of game you can think of by now. The plucky plumber really should have learned some ways to cheat the system. And while he's at it, you think he would get a better look going on!

Available from Redbubble and Society6 on all kinds of nice stuff. Check out the Doodle Dojo Store for more info.

42 Uses for Towels

A towel, is about the most useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has a few things to say on the subject of towels. And (as I may have mentioned once or twice before) I'm a big fan of the Guide. So I thought I would put my brain in gear and come up with a few uses for them myself. I took a bit of inspiration from Douglas Adams himself and then went off on my own tangent for a while thinking up new things you could do with a fluffy bit of cloth. When I had counted them up I found I was pretty close to, but not quite at, 42 things. This is obviously not good enough so I had to go and rack my brains a bit more. Much brain ache later this is the end result. A full instruction manual of why you should never leave home without a good, sturdy towel, you never know what it might come in handy for.

Of course this is no exception to the usual rule. If you would like to get your hands on this design, its available at Redbubble and Society6 with all the details on the Doodle Dojo Store. Make sure you get your order in before towel day!

Ackbar

Check out Ackbar's multicar Insurance Deals!
While watching TV the other day and an advert for Admiral Car Insurance came on. This is only going to make sense if you live in the UK I'm afraid but geography still counts for something in this world so there you go. I was idly thinking to myself that the only admiral I was ever bothered by was Ackbar and this idea just appeared straight away. I started sketching everyone's favourite Mon Calamari admiral, and in the end I was pleased enough with my doodling to turn into something a bit more polished up.

So here it is. A fairly weak joke based on a UK only insurance firm released into the wide world of the internet. Sounded like a great plan at the time.

As usual this is available at my Redbubble and Society6 stores on a wide range of awesome stuff. Head over to the Doodle Dojo Store to find all the info in one place.

Game of Jones

These things belong in a museum!
I might have mentioned that I'm an Indiana Jones fan before. If not then this is the time I mentioned it. Anyway, one day I was looking at a Game of Thrones design and there was an Indy picture further down the page when I noticed the rhyme. Of course that's not enough to suggest a design on its own, but when I started thinking about the iron throne itself I wondered what Indy would have made his out of. That's when I started trying to remember all the weapons and artefacts I could think of from the Indy films and realised that it might be worth a go. Several sketch pad pages and a fair bit of re-watching Indy later, this is what I came up with. I tried to include as many long, mostly pointy things as I could and I'm quite pleased with the final result.

It seems there are some other people out there who like it too, which is why this design has been picked up by Shirtpunch.com. So on Sunday, September 23rd this design will be on sale there for 24 hours only. Its only $10 on a T-shirt and they also do a great range of stickers, magnets, hoodies and other stuff too. So if the timing is right, go and check it out.

If you do happen to miss the sale don't worry. This design is also available at Redbubble and Society6 as usual, you can find all the details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Petit Rouge Rhapsody

Petit  Rouge Rhapsody
With a new series of Red Dwarf on the way (in the UK at least) I thought it was time to break out the pens and have a go at representing the boys from the Dwarf. I was thinking about an iconic way of showing four people as a team when the bohemian rhapsody pose wandered into my brain. It seemed to suit Red Dwarf quite well; is this the real life? or just a game of better than life? to paraphrase the song. Doodling time followed and I thought a more cartoony style suited these guys a bit better than too much reality.

Red Dwarf is a classic show and I can't wait to see what they come up with in the new episodes. If its half as good as some of the old ones it will be well worth watching!

If you want to get your hands on this work featuring the last human, his dead friend, a creature evolved from a cat and their cleaning droid, head over to Redbubble or Society6. You'll find it on stickers, iphone cases and of course T-shirts among other things. Full details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Singin in the Rain

What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again!
Clockwork Orange again! Its one of those films that sticks with you forever, or at least it does with me. One of the most disturbing bits (out of a pretty wide choice of disturbing bits) is when Alex and his droogs raid the Home farm. The cheerful tune of Singin' in the Rain really helps to underline the horrible treatment being inflicted on the innocent couple.

So obviously I wanted to represent that disturbingness somehow. When I saw a poster for the stage musical of Singin' in the Rain, it was obvious that Alex needed to be inserted. Its great when you find an excuse to draw something pretty much just for the fun of it!

As usual you can find this design on T-shirts, Stickers, iPhone cases and more at Redbubble and Society6. And all the details can be found on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Galactic Empire

The spaceship and sun symbol of the Galactic Empire
Isaac Asimov is one of my favourite authors. He has an amazing array of stories spread over something like twenty or thirty thousand years of human history. A large chunk of that time is taken up by the rule of the Galactic Empire, which spread throughout the stars, and then degenerated until it could only collapse and be replaced by the Foundation. The emblem is described by Asimov as a cigar shaped spaceship in front of a stylised sun, so it leaves a little room for imagination in there still. I wanted to go for a fifties style spaceship as thats when most of his stories were written and this is the end result.

If you would like to own something with this artwork on it, head over to Redbubble or Society6 and choose from a range of T-shirts, iPhone cases, stickers, prints and other assorted goodies. See all the details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Licensed to Rebel

No sleep 'til Endor
Sci-fi and music in the same illustration. When I first heard the Beastie Boys I was very small indeed, much like when I first saw Star Wars. They left a bit of an impression, especially the iconic cover of Licensed to Ill. I'm not really sure how this mash-up made it into my head, but once it was there I had to see what it would look like. The Rebels and the Beasties are both pretty anti-establishment and there is no better symbol of the Star Wars establishment than the Star destroyer. Unless maybe its the Death Star, but then what would the destroyer have to crash into?

If you think it's time to get ill then you might want to get over to Redbubble or Society6 and check out some of the T-shirts, iPhone cases, posters and stickers available. All the details are on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Loki Logo

Loki - Great for mischief, mayhem and er, building things?!
A nice simple one this time. Loki is the mischievous god from Norse mythology who likes to cause a bit of trouble now and then. Just like those plastic building blocks that look so innocent during the day but at night seem to be made of razor blades and always find their way directly under your feet.

If you like the looks of this design you can get hold of it at Redbubble and Society6 on T-shirts, prints, iPhone cases and more. Find all the details on the Doodle Dojo Store

Cold Day in Hell

There aren't many cold days in Hell. So be prepared!
Just a silly character I thought up today. What if the devil wasn't being all evil and instead was just a bit fed up. And what would the devil have to be fed up about anyway? Well this is what. I imagine that the proverbial cold day in hell would be a bit of a downer for Beelzebub. He's not going to be used to it so he would probably need a little bit of cold weather gear too. One daft doodle later and here he is.

Available (as usual) on iPhone cases, T-shirts, sticker and more at Redbubble, Society6 and this time Zazzle as well, all the details over on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Wizard of Who

We're off to see the Doctor
Follow the yellow blue brick road! The Doctor of Who is (as we all know) a magical man capable of doing pretty much anything. So finding a brain for the scarecrow, a heart for the Cyberman and some courage for Brannigan should be as easy as getting Amy back home to Rory. All they have to do now is find him.

This one came out of a discussion where the Cybermen were getting called tinmen. The wheels in my head eventually connected up the other characters and once I had them all, it just had to be put on paper. I do love a bit of the Doctor. New series coming soon(ish) and it looks like its going to be a good one from all the news I've seen so far. Can't wait.

Luckily you don't have to wait to get your hands on this doodle. Just head over to Society6 or Redbubble to get your hands on T-shirts, iPhone cases, stickers and prints. All the links are on the Doodle Dojo Store as usual.

Game Over

Just when it was getting good.
I thought I'd have another go at videogames this time around. Sticking with the classics, I've doodled an interpretation of the ultimate game of snake. So simple and so addictive. It's probably impossible to get yourself into a situation like this in the game but its quite easy to imagine it so I thought I would draw it anyway. I quite like the way it has almost turned itself into an abstract pattern. Pretty pleased with the final result and I learned a thing or two about tiling an repeating patterns. Can't be a bad result!

This one is (of course!) up on Redbubble on T-shirts and stickers and also on Society6 as prints and iPhone skins and other cool stuff. Find the details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Arctic & European Oil

Arctic & European used to be a fish oil company, until triffids arrived.
Well whaddaya know? We're back to sci-fi! John Wyndham's The Day of the Triffids to be precise. The lead character, Bill Masen, works as a biologist for Arctic & European Oil. They used to be Arctic & European Fish Oils until Triffids came along and proved far more profitable. They also turned out to  be slightly more dangerous as well though. Mobile, poisonous, carnivorous plants are a bit tricky to look after. Especially when most of the population is goes blind after seeing a 'comet' enter the Earth's atmosphere.

I based the colour scheme loosely on BP on this one to give it an authentic oil company look. But obviously illustration is what I'm doing here so it needed a Triffid to spice things up a bit. It follows the book description more than the (UK) TV series although that's probably what most people think of first.

This one is, of course, available as prints and iphone cases on Society6 as well as T-shirts and stickers on Redbubble. Full details at the Doodle Dojo Store.

Self Preservation Society

Hang on lads, I've got a great idea!
I've finally managed to come up with an idea that isn't a science fiction design! This is (obviously!) based on the awesome British movie, the Italian Job. I'm sure you know the idea and what's happening in this scene. While doing some research for the coach colours I discovered that someone has worked out a way to rescue the gold. Seems a bit of a long winded way of going about it to me.

Anyway, as usual the design is now available on Redbubble and Society6 on a variety of cool items and all the details are on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Time to Bleed

Blain ain't got time to bleed. Until now.
Another classic sci-fi movie reference. Arnie managed to be in lots of great films but Jessie Ventura made a pretty big impact in this one too. Lugging around Ol' Painless and coming out with such wisdom as "ain't got time to bleed". Well in my imaginary scene, the time to bleed might be a lot sooner than he thinks.

This one was a bit of a pain to get done. Those leaves took an age! I got some good advice the composition though and stuck to it and now I'm pretty pleased with the finished result.

As always you can get yourself this on T-shirts, stickers and other stuff at Redbubble as well as prints, iphone cases and even more goodies at Society6. Full details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Freestyle Scout

Biker Scouts blaze their own trails.
Being a biker scout is a different way of life to being a regular trooper. They like to live on the edge, pushing the envelope as far as it will go.

This is my entry for We Love Fine's Star Wars contest. I couldn't help but do something for the chance to get an official Star Wars shirt under my belt. As usual it had to be a little bit different to satisfy my sense of silliness. All it needs now is some votes from you awesome people! Head over to Welovefine.com to give your score. Thanks in advance!

Oh No, Not Again!

The First (and last) thoughts of Agrajag's incarnation as a bowl of Petunias.
You may have noticed that I'm a bit of a science fiction fan. One of the books that cemented that love of all things futuristic and spacey is Douglas Adams' amazing book 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.' I loved all the silly things going on and the added on descriptions of totally random, seemingly unrelated stuff scattered throughout.

This is my design in tribute to that masterpiece. Its based on the scene where Arthur manages to call a whale and a bowl of petunias into existence miles above an abandoned planet. These are the thoughts of the flowers as they begin their descent into oblivion. If you don't know what's going on here, just go and read a copy. You will not be wasting your time I promise!

Available on prints, T-shirts and all sorts of other stuff from Society6 and Redbubble. Click on the Doodle Dojo Store for all the details.

Renew!

Enter the Carousel. This is the time of Renewal.
Its another one inspired by a classic sci-fi film. This time its Logan's Run. There were some great sci-fi films made way back in the 70s and they all seem to have soundtracks created by one man and a synthesizer. I've never quite figured out how that tradition started but I'm kind of glad it did. The bizarre, almost music stuff, really adds to the futuristic feeling in some movies and Logan's Run definitely counts as one of those.

The carousel is the ceremony where the people who have reached 30 are sent off to their deaths. And the rest of the crowd cheer them on their way as they float up and explode. How nice!

Prints, laptop skins and other goodies available on Society6 and Redbubble. Check the Doodle Dojo Store for all the info.

Rockatansky Fuel Haulage

Max will always get your fuel there on time.
A little Mad Max themed doodle for you all this time. Max Rockatansky has to be one of the most unusual names for any movie hero. Thank goodness they shortened it to Mad Max for the title or the posters would have looked terrible.

The fortified truck from the Road Warrior is a pretty iconic vehicle and I thought you would probably want to use it more than once (if it hadn't been destroyed by the humungus). Safe and secure fuel deliveries would have made Max a fortune, if he only could have got that first one right.

Available on posters, prints, tees and iphone cases at Redbubble and Society6. Find all the details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Revenge of the Frogs

One day the frogs will get their own back, just wait and see.
Back in the very early 80's one frog was getting a really bad deal out of these newfangled video games. Its been a long time coming, but now he has some genetically mutated friends on his side, its time to get revenge. Why don't you try getting across the road and see how much you like it huh?

I don't really know why I was thinking about old school video games. But when I thought about turning one of them on its head I just knew it would make a fun picture. All I needed then was the right frog (or perhaps the right collection of frogs). What more can I say about this one?

Oh I know, its on Society6 and Redbubble as usual, check the Doodle Dojo Store for all the details.

Battle Royale Class 3B Final Report

Battle Royale Class 3B Final Report
What do you do when you've finished watching Battle Royale? Well if you are me you start thinking 'that film was awesome, I want to make a design inspired by it!' Then of course you get carried away come up with an idea and start watching it again. Only this time you take notes on how everyone was killed and in what order and work up a nice poster based on the notes. So there it is, the final report of Class 3B, all 40 kills with the weapon that caused them.

Here's a little close up of the detail. I got carried away with the texture and stuff on this and had great fun getting it right. Not to mention the fun of watching the film again!

As usual this is available on all sorts of great stuff at Society6 and Redbubble. Get all the details over on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Embrace the Chaos

Embrace the Chaos - the first rule of holistic detecting.
I love a good Douglas Adams book so obviously I had to watch the BBC version of Dirk Gently when it aired recently. It wasn't as good as the books, but I imagine its pretty tricky to get all the side thoughts and distractions that crop up in Douglas' writing onto the screen. One thing that did keep seeming to crop up was Dirk telling MacDuff to embrace the chaos. It stuck in my head enough that I wanted to put pencil to paper and do a little something based on it. So here's what I came up with. This is a bit more typographical than my usual stuff. Everyone needs a change now and then after all!

As usual this is available on Redbubble and Society6 on a variety of lovely things. Check out the store for more details.

Big Red Balls of Doom

Indy's most challenging challenge
Finally a break from the science fiction! Total Wipeout (or just plain Wipeout in the US) is one of those shows that is a real guilty pleasure to watch. It shouldn't be as funny as it is to watch people falling over and getting knocked down, but everyone enjoys seeing it anyway. So I was wondering just what it would take to make it over the big red balls when I suddenly realised. It would take Indiana Jones.

This is one of those drawings that was pretty much complete in my head as soon as I had the idea. Then it was just a case of getting it down.

As usual you can find it on Society6. Check out the Doodle Dojo Store for more details.

Fire Department 451

Fire Department 451
A bit more science fiction has unexpectedly found its way onto the blog. This time its the Ray Bradbury classic Fahrenheit 451 that gets the treatment. In case you haven't read it, this is a story about a fireman called Montag. The world he lives in has a very different use for firemen though. With all the houses safely fireproofed, they are instead used to protect the people from the dangers of books. Montag comes to realise that this might not be the best way to live, thanks partly to a girl and, well, go and read it. Its a good story!

If you want to get hold of something with this badge on it to show your true sci-fi geekiness, head over to Society6 or Redbubble. All the details are on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Flying Needs Votes on GoodJoe

Flying. Vote for it on Goodjoe
Most people daydream about being able to fly, unless you're terrified f heights I guess. I do anyway so I  drew this up as a nice dreamy vision of soaring about through a futuristic city. One day I might get bitten by a radioactive pigeon and get super powers, but until then, I'll just have to keep on dreaming!

If you've been hanging around here for ages, (there's bound to be someone!) you might remember that i submitted this design to Threadless. It scored reasonably well (thanks if you voted) but it didn't get printed. Now that the hold period is well and truly over its time to see if anyone else likes it. Goodjoe looks like a great site with lots of nice designs so that that's where its gone. If I could get a few votes over there, and with a little bit of luck, it might get printed!

Devil's Tower Spaceport

Devil's Tower Spaceport Wyoming
There aren't very many natural landmarks as recognisable as Devil's Tower. I guess that's why it was used in Steven Spielberg's classic, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I'm pretty sure that everybody has had a go at making their own mashed potato version while mumbling "I'm sure this is important somehow." When it was reused in the sci-fi tribute film Paul, its place in (fictional) space travel history was raised a little higher still. So I thought I'd make my own tribute. If you were visiting Earth in your brand new UFO for the first time what better place to start than there.

Get a print at Society6 or a T-shirt at Redbubble. Full details on the Doodle Dojo Store.

Android Dreams

Android Dreams. Looks like its electric sheep again.
So I've let my Sci-fi nerdiness get the better of me once again! I finished reading through Philip K. Dick's classic, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (also known as Blade Runner on the big screen.) And I just had to do something about it. Luckily I just happened to see a great design (Circuit Bots by Seven Hundred) based on circuit diagrams and suddenly there was this design staring me in the face, from inside my head obviously! Its quite a literal interpretation but who's to say that's not the best way sometimes. A bit of doodling later and I've got another one to show you. Hope you like it.

Available as prints, laptop skins and iPhone cases from Society6 and Tees and stickers and stuff on Redbubble. And of course the Doodle Dojo store has all the links.

Santa Clara Takeaway

Santa Clara Takeaway, the best chinese in town!
One thing I never could stand about Santa Clara, all the damn vampires!

The 80's had some great movies and The Lost Boys was one of them. Utterly cool from beginning to end, Keifer Sutherland being mean before Jack Bauer was even thought of, the Frog Bros! Just plain awesome.

This idea has been hanging around the back of my head for a while and I thought I had best get it out into the world before too long. Personally I'm not a big fan of creepy crawlies so I can't think of much worse to find in your food than this. Except spiders. This is one of those things that sounds like a great idea until you have to spend a couple of hours drawing a box of maggots. Still, lesson learned for the future, no more maggots. Although I can't think of any more designs that would need them. Yet.

Head over to Society6 and Redbubble to get yourself a print on something cool and don't forget the Doodle Dojo Store for more info.

Station's Most Bodacious Creations

Station's Creations, the good robot Bill and Ted
Bill and Ted, the two most excellent time travellers, need a bit of help to defeat their evil robot counterparts. So they enlist the help of the two-part alien Station to build them some good robot buddies. Not only do they totally defeat the evil robots, they also make pretty good backup dancers for Wyld Stallyns.

Time travel, rock and silliness combined into two awesome movies? What coud be better? Not much if you are me so I thought it was time to add a bit more Bill and Ted to my doodle collection. The robots never seem to get too much attention, which is a shame because I think they look great. Especially in full air guitar mode.

Station's Creations is available on T-shirts, iPhone cases, stickers and prints on Redbubble. Not forgetting the prints, iPhone cases and laptop skins you can get from Society6.

Where's Wookiee

Where has that Wookiee got to now?
I was looking at my son's Where's Wally books (Where's Waldo over the water) when this little idea hit me. I had to get sketching! After trying (unsuccessfully) to do a full page of finding the wookiee like inside the books I had a better idea and tried making it look like a book cover instead. This version worked out a lot better and, after drawing more Star Wars charactersin one go than I have since school, I came up with this. I'm pretty pleased with the end result and so far lots of other people seem to like it too, which is always really nice to hear!

As always this is available in my Redbubble store and on Society6 as prints, iPhone cases, greeting cards and T-shirts. Click on over to the Doodle Dojo Store for more info.

Basil's Fury

Basil Fawlty takes out his frustration.
Fawlty Towers is one of those classic British sitcoms. It never seems to get any less funny no matter how many years pass. So I thought it should get a doodle. This is one of my favourite scenes. Basil's legendary anger gets the better of him when the car won't start and so he pays it back in his own special way. I think its the utter uselessness of it that gets me. There's almost no danger of the car being damaged but he rages away it at regardless. It could also be that John Cleese just looks extremely funny swinging wildly at an inanimate object.

If you somehow don't know what it is I'm going on about, just have a click here and enjoy the show.

Head over to the Doodle Dojo Store if you want to get hold of a T-shirt, iPhone case, or even a print.

Horrible Weapons

Horrible weapons as used in some classic horror movies
Horror movies for me are all about the weapons. There are sharp ones, blunt ones and the more off the wall ones! So here is a selection of my favourites. If you had this little lot available I reckon you would be able to survive most zombie outbreaks without too much trouble.

Bonus points if you can name the films they come from too. In this case points don't win you prizes but you do get to be proud of your geekiness!

This is a slightly modified version of the design that I submitted to Threadless. Now that their 90 day period is over, you get to get your hands on it at the Doodle Dojo store instead. Click on through for more details.

In other exciting news (it is to me at least!) I have now started adding my doodles to Society6. So if you are in a helpful mood please feel free to take a look and click that promote button on anything that takes your fancy.

Urk Urk's Gaffi Stick Emporium

Urk Urk's Gaffi Stick Emporium. The best Gaffi Sticks in the Jundland Wastes
Urk Urk is the Tusken raider equivalent of Hatori Hanzo. If you need a quality Gaffi stick, he's the one to get it from. Just head out into the Jundland Wastes and follow Beggar's Canyon. It's just behind the big rock, you can't miss it! Plenty of bantha fodder is available for all our patrons, just make sure you come in single file to hide your numbers.

I don't think its possible to run out of ideas for Star Wars designs. Urk Urk is the way I refer to the Tusken Raider that knocks Luke out. I thought that they must have shops and stuff and why wouldn't they have an Emporium as well, I'm sure they aren't just savages!

Available on loads of stuff at Redbubble. Just check out the Doodle Dojo Store for more details.

Dragon Army Emblem

Ender Wiggin's Dragon Army Emblem
You might have noticed that I'm a little bit of a sci-fi nut. And once in a while its good to indulge the geekiness inside. So when I started thinking about doing a little something to do with Ender's Game, I knew I should just get it out there to stop me dwelling on it too much. So after imagining obscure pictures of people floating around pointing guns I thought I would make it simpler and just go for an emblem instead.

I only got around to reading Ender's Game quite recently, (the shame!) but I'm glad I did catch up, what a great book. And now I hear that there is a film in progress. That could turn out to be awesome, or might be terrible. Hearing that Harrison Ford is going to be in it makes me feel slightly better but who knows with the standard of films these days? Fingers crossed!

In the meantime, head over to the Store and join Ender's Jeesh!
